Posted: 13 Feb 2010 01:05 PM PST

Hello,
I have a trainer in the organisation I work just walking away and dishonouring her contract over a petty issue.
She has caused much setback as assignments will suffer.
She is a HR manager of _________________.
Why do you think she took such a strong step?
Pls help and give an insight.
Can we also make corrective measures and ensure that other trainers dont behave as whimsically?

Worth spending for SAP course? (So much)

Posted: 13 Feb 2010 10:42 AM PST

Dear friends,

First of all let me give some information about what happened today. I went to Siemens, Chennai to enquire about SAP(HR) course. They enquired abt my background and since i have done B.E(CSE) MBA(HR/Systems) wit 1 year experience in HR i was eligible to take up the course. It costs 3.3Lakhs and the unbelievable part is, the course takes place for just 21 days. 19 days of continuous class except sundays and calsses from 9 to 6. On the 21st day they will conduct the exam and if we take 55% and above then they will provide the certificate. One more thing consultant from Germany will come and facilitate us in training. HDFC will be ready to pay us loan for taking up the course and we should repay it by 3 years. Am posting this since i was searching for the info for a very long time finally i decided let me go to siemens office itself and enquire, hope it will be useful for someone who is searchin for the info.
Folks, 3.3L for 21 days is it worthwhile?? if anyone has taken up the course in siemens, plz tell us whether there is Return on investment(ROI). What is the future in it. Please do guide us...
Most importantly: Siemens will also assist to get placement but there is no assurance(consultant said)
3.3L in 21 days and no assurance of job... Folks plz guide us.

Thanks & Regards
