I want to do it now. I just need to know whether it is possible by my company to get the amount without my knowledge. Thanks.

| If you were in my place, what would you do??? Posted: 08 Apr 2010 04:12 PM PDT Dear HR Colleagues, I would like to ask for some advice on what to do.... I recently moved to a new company because I believe that I needed to grow in terms of exposure to other HR functions such as Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment and others. I came from from a set-up where its highly compartmentalized, specialist in expertise. However, I am having second thoughts on whether I can fit in my new company because it involves extensive traveling and decision making is highly centralized that it hampers every day transaction where I am located. Also I don't think that I will be able to learn anything new in terms of HR functions because my job entails more of execution rather than strategy and all. Now I found a new job opportunity where I get to have more exposure in CB, Recruitment and the whole HR spectrum, since the position is generalist. The position title is the same as in my current position but I don't have any supervisory functions as I will be an individual contributor. Now, my questions are - 1.) If I will be offered the job opportunity, should I take it given that all other factors are the same? My uneasiness is that it does not have supervisory functions. My end goal is to become an HR Manager soon. 2.) How bad will the impact be on my resume and career that I will resigned barely three months in my current company? This is the first time that I will be doing it;so I'm not sure how damaging it will be.... Please I need your feedback and I will appreciate anyone's reply. Sorry for the long post.
