Open attachment letter

Posted: 21 Apr 2010 12:49 PM PDT

Hi,

I have received recently a letter from the HR dept. with subject "Attachment" informing me that i will be moving temporarily in another department as from a specific date. But however in the letter it does not specify the date when i will return to my present position, is it legal to give to an employee such type of letter where it does not specify the date at which the attachment will end???

Thanks

John
