CTC Calculation clarification requested

Hello Friends,

I am currently employed with an organization, where the responsibilities and role I handle is very different from the role mentioned on the offer letter/payslip. Also, I am entitled to - and avail additional monetary benefits viz. travel allowance etc., which is not a part of the CTC. Kindly note the attached sheet which provides a break up of my CTC.

Apart from that, I am entitled to the following benefits:
  • Company provided accommodation
  • Cab facility
  • Mobile phone with a limit of INR 3500 per month
  • Travel Allowance @ USD 15 per day. I have constantly been working at a location away from my base location and will continue to do so for the next 1 year atleast.
  • My work, role and responsibility is that of managerial cadre - Project Manager, but my on paper profile is Project Engineer - though my qualifications do not include a BE or BTech. I am an MBA.

My question is simple enough - when applying for a new job, what should I say my CTC actually is? Is it what is finally mentioned on paper/on payslip? Or it will include all these benefits that I have mentioned.

Roles of Personnel, Line & HR Manager

Can you please define the roles, responsibilities of Personnel manager, Line Manager & HR Manager

Now a days we can see HR Managers in most of the companies, but where do the line managers and personnel managers work. Can we see these three managers in IT Sector?

I am looking at government dyads and although I may have exhausted my literature review, I wonder if anyone has some useful references on role analysis, interaction analysis, and shared mental models.

HELP!! trying to form a Core Team/Employee team

We are a non-union site and have recently made a lot of changes benefits, policies, etc. not all have faired well for the employees. Employees are starting to feel like they do not have a voice. We are brainstorming ideas on how to get them more involved and utilize their experience and opinions to help shape certain policies and communications. If anyone is willing to participate and give me feedback on the specific questions I would greatly appreciate the help.


1. Do you have a core team/ hourly team at your site? If no, do you have a team that you utilize in this capacity?

2. Who is this team comprised of i.e. hourly, Exempts, combination of both

3. How did you identify members to be part of this team? What was your process?

4. Do you have communication that you could share on how you presented this to the site as benefit?

5. In what situations do you utilize your core team/alternative team for? i.e. policies, communication talking points, rumor, state of business, etc. .

6. Any concerns related around this type of team you have experienced or would like to share?

Any information would be helpful.

Train the Trainer certification (MOST URGENT)

Hi Friends,

I would like to attend a TTT at an individual level in the area of softskills & voice and accent. I got lot of reference from CITEHR about the training consultants who run a 7-8 days TTT in Delhi/NCR. I am still in a dilemma whom to chose?

Need your help to guide me the best place to provide this certification in Delhi/NCR and can help me work as a freelance trainer or to take up a full time opportunity.

Need your urgent help.
