freezing experience and relieving letter is it ok as per indian laws??

Posted: 09 Jun 2010 12:01 PM PDT

Hi,
I was working with organization for 2 years and I left the same. Legal notice period was 30 days but I had given 7 days notice period which denied on mail by HR. I was ready to pay salary in lieu of but they did not accepted and insisting for 30 days notice.

My Questions are

1]Employee need permission from employer for short notice even if employee is ready to pay salary in lieu of?(where in appointment letter it is written that for short notice employee has to pay salary of 1 month)

2]If company deny and employee left then they freeze experience letter and relieving letter is it ok as per indian laws? (In appointment letter there is no clause for experience letter and relieving letter)

3]Can Employer freeze PF forever?? Is there any way to withdraw PF without transferring it into new PF account.(As new employer created new pf account)

4]Can employer take any action if employee left organisation less than 30 days (Complete Notice period) if yes then what it will be?

5] Cant I (employee) get experience letter and relieving letter ever?

Please Help
