Non Payment of incentive

Posted: 05 Mar 2010 12:11 PM PST

Dear All,
I had worked as a marketing executive for a pharma MNC in sales for almost 3yrs. Left it for education in march 2009. Between april-june 2008 Q i achieved my targets & was waiting for my incentives, but my regional manager was insisting me to share my incentives with other collegue's(not a rule) or else my incentive will be not released. I refused him & tried to convince him. At last
in aug 08 I informed abt it to all my HR & other dept who were loooking after incentives & my zonal manager. All replied i will get my money. I kept following it till jan09 but till date my incentive money is not released of april-dec2008. Received a letter of settlement(no mention of my incentive) from an executive finance dept. I mailed him asking my incentives, which he forwarded to the same regional manager & is waiting for his reply. The amount is about 1.2lakhs.
Please help to know how can I get my money? is there a legal re-course? Will it help?

Corporate Joke!!

Posted: 05 Mar 2010 11:39 AM PST

While joining new CEO met with the previous CEO, who privately gave him 3-envelopes. "Open these in case you can't solve a problem," he said. Six months later, sales took a downturn. About at his wit's end, he remembered the envelopes. He took out the 1st envelope. It read, "Blame your predecessor." The CEO tactfully laid the blame at the feet of the previous CEO. The press responded positively, sales began to pick up and the problem was resolved. About a year later, the company was again experiencing dip in sales. Having learned, the CEO quickly opened 2nd envelope. The message read, "Reorganize." He did, and the company quickly rebounded. After many profitable quarters, the company once again fell on difficult times. The CEO quickly opened the 3rd envelope. The message said, "Prepare three envelopes."

Rural CSR Initiative

Posted: 05 Mar 2010 11:10 AM PST

HI,

We have started a rural BPO - "VILLIT Solutions".

VILLIT stands for VILLage, Life and Information Technology.
It is located in a small town called PAVAGADA situated around 180 kms away from Bangalore, which is regarded as one of the most backward taluks of Karnataka.
Poverty, unemployment, child labor, is at its maximum in this taluk, which in turn is creating a lot of anti-social elements.

At VILLIT Solutions, we are involved in providing employment & livelihood opportunities to rural youth through Information Technology. This is our Social mission.
VILLIT Solutions employs 100 local people who have been undergoing training for about two months now.

I assure you that the services we provide are high in quality & delivered on time.
The services we offer are at comparatively lesser prices since our main motto is NOT to make huge profits, but to sustain the BPO unit & possibly grow further to encourage more rural lives.

Please find more details in our website : VILLIT SOLUTIONS | HOME

We are currently looking to provide service in back office data processing.
I want to know if you / your organization can help us in getting any such data processing related projects.

Positively looking forward for your support & encouragement.

Many Thanks,
Ravi
