Is Connecting Business Schools worth it? Posted: 15 May 2010 11:02 AM PDT Dear HR Experts / Friends, In the last decade the number of Business Schools have dramatically increased and so has the requirement for quality talent. Will having an exclusive central directory of all B-Schools offering online access to detailed profiles of B-Schools students across campuses and the ability to evaluate talent over longer duration be helpful? The detailed profiles will be coupled with their research work, video introductions, recommendations, preferred industry/ locations, and the ability to conduct video interview from your office. Will this offer you increased efficacy, wider reach at a lower cost and facilitate greater industry interface with Business schools ? Does building an online bridge between leading Business Schools and Corporates make sense to you? We request your valued feedback and thank you in advance your sparing your time in sharing your views. Regards atul |
Employee asking money for relieving letter Posted: 15 May 2010 10:44 AM PDT Dear All, I had worked for 2 years in some company and quit it ...Again changing the domain i joined as an intern in some company for a lesser stipend ...during the course of internship i got a better offer from a very good company for a decent salary.I informed the company that i will be ending the internship with them stating the original reason...but these people taking advantage of the situation started harassing me for giving the relieving letter for staying 2 months with them...They even demanded a huge sum of money for the letter...dear friends should i wait for their letter or talk to my new company about this(in new company i have mentioned that i was with this company) ....please reply back as soon as possible .... thanks, Ajit. |

Posted: 15 May 2010 08:32 AM PDT Hi all, I'm working in Mahindra World City SEZ. This area is not notified by ESI for coverage. We have a letter issued few years back by ESI stating the same. Now we came to know that ESI will automatically come into force wherever PF coverage is applicable. Could anyone please let us know how to get the information whether our area is notified by ESI. |
