income tax calculation - india

For the FY 09-10, if 3.92 lacs INR is the Gross Salary of which 2000 is Prof Tax, 22000 is deducted as TDS, 36000 is invested in chit fund, 8800 is conveyance and 50000 is paid as HRA (Rent). Now how much will one need to pay as Income Tax ?


Need Advice urgently

Dear All,

I need u'r help . Can u suggest wat shld he do.

One of my frnd has given an interview in an orgniz and he got shorlisted as per da feedback received from Hr Exeu. After that Hr exec asked his expected salary. First Hr exec. denied that amt and at the end they asked for how much salary below that you don't wanna come. He replied them after some negotating the amount. But he did not recved any call from them after 4-5 days has been passed.

He is very worry since he found that company is very good. He don't undrstnd whther he shld follow-up with them or not (wait).

He is thnkng of putting a mail but don't knw what matter shuld he write that can highly impact on Hr Exec.

So can u suggest whethr wat should he write on mail.

Looking for best approach that can highly impact on them.

Hi ,

Need assistance reg. my career.

I was into IT and have 3Y experience in it.
But due to my Father's health reasons , i had to quit in early 2008 and started managing my father's business in Industrial catering..in chennai..
All went well till November when we had to close our business due to various factors....
I am now looking to get back into job ..but finding it very difficult as i have a career gap of 2 years in IT ..so it is difficult to get back into technical work .
I prefered for going into functional/Managerial roles , but here also i'm finding it difficult as they are asking for a MBA or 3-4 exp in management which i don't have...
Could some one suggest me which profile would suit me at present scenario ...
The business I managed was a small scale one and i took care of day-to-day administartion , marketing as well as the finance part of it...

Someone please give me a career guidance so as to where i would fit and which profiles can i search for jobs ??
