building & other construction welfare cess rules, 1998 rule 15 Posted: 09 Feb 2010 10:29 AM PST Hi, As per rule 15 in the existing rules the assessing officer, or any inspect or a TU has to make a complaint before the Board. The Board shall then examine it and refer to the Central Govt. for taking legal action against offender. The Central Govt. thereafter has to make enquiry and authorise an inspector having appro juris to file a complaint in the Court. This is a cumbersome process and almost impracticable. Besides, for ests. for which State is appro. govt. there is no need for the Board to refer the complt. to the Central Govt. Doesn't the rule need further amendment? Any opinion? |

Changing job : help required regarding PF account Posted: 09 Feb 2010 08:54 AM PST I was working with a firm for over an year, I changed my job and joined another company with the same PF account. But, just after completing 1 month,I left that company because of some personal reason. In this new company i am about to join, I can not tell them that I have worked in a company for 1 month. Will they come to know of that once they ask for my pf details? Can i close/withdraw my pf account and ask my new employer to open a new pf account since i have withdrawn my previous pf account? OR Can i give the pf number of my first employer and not the previous one? Please guide me in what should i do.. |
