NOC to Get Relieving Letter. How much is it important? Posted: 11 Feb 2010 11:30 AM PST Dear Sirs, I have served as Area Sales Manager (Sales Department) In a MNC. I submitted my resignation with 30 days notice. My resignation was accepted by my line manager. Later on NOC ( from business partners) was asked from me to get the relieving letter. I have already taken up a new assignment with another MNC. During my notice period i already submitted all company documents, Laptop, cleared my mobile bills and posted/submitted the relevant documents and articles to the concerned departments. However NOC from the business associates have been demanded by the line manager which is getting difficult as my geography of operation was extended in associated states (West Bengal and Orissa). I want the relieving letter ahich is being denied by my former organisation citing Non submission of NOC from business partners. I want to understand can an organisation stop the issuance of Relieving letter despite the fact that all company articles and documents were submitted and receivings were taken from the concerned deptts. please help. |

Kindly reply as soon as possible (Required information on tds on my salary) Posted: 11 Feb 2010 10:28 AM PST Hello all, I am Sandesh Naik. I joined an organization on 18th January 2010. I am getting a package of 1.8 lac. After all exemptions i get a net salary of 15,000 Rs. in my hand. Here i would just like to know that whether TDS should be cut from my salary because until the end of this FY(March 2010) my income doesn't exceed 1.6 lac. I would also like to know that whether the govt. cuts income tax on income earned during a financial year or it does the following calculation. In my case, 1.8 lac/12=15,000 Rs. income>1.6 lac, hence 10% tds i.e 1500 Rs. Hence my February 2010 salary will be 15,000 - 1500 = 13,500 Rs. OR will there be no tds on my salary till march 2010 and tds will be applied on the salary i earn in the next FY Thanks and Regards, Sandesh Naik |
