How influential are you as a behavioural trainer/coach?

Posted: 21 Feb 2010 11:45 AM PST

Typically when one thinks of what makes some facilitators a cut above the rest, the attributes that come to mind are excellent communication skills, sense of humour, personal charm, presence of mind etc. While all these ingredients are absolutely essential in the perfect trainer recipe, there’s one particular skill that has proven time and again to be the one that makes or breaks a career in training/coaching/teaching.

This is the power of INFLUENCE, which by far overshadows all other attributes in helping you make a difference to another individual’s performance. This power enables you to plant the seeds of positive change in the subconscious mind of another individual, thus compelling him to introspect over his deep rooted thoughts, feelings and attitudes. Only when he is ready to unlearn his glue like mindsets and destroy concrete wall like attitudes can you hope to make any progress in bringing about changes in behaviour & performance, which after all forms only the tip of the iceberg.

Psychometric assessments are excellent scientific tools to help individuals realise their inherent strengths and potential. These assessments provide an in depth, objective insight into attitudes of people, thus not only bringing about self awareness but also opening up their minds to your training and mentorship. Once this vital connection is established between you and your trainee/coachee/student, you can be sure that you will always hold a very special place in that person’s life.

As a behavioural trainer/coach, it is crucial that you fully utilise that one gift that endows you with the Midas touch of healing and empowerment. This is the gift of Psychology, the most common but least understood of all the behavioural sciences.

Learn more about the power of influence through implementation of psychological principles and psychometric analysis in the Advanced Diploma in Behavioural Training & Development, the right platform for those who wish to kick-start a successful training career.

Avail a host of benefits including three certifications in a single cost effective package, projects with reputed organisations and learning how to address performance issues at the roots. PF withdrawal after VRS/Resignation

Posted: 21 Feb 2010 07:30 AM PST

The company I was working took resignation from every body by making false promises and pressure tactice. Every one in middle management & lower level staff accounts were settled in full by paying some small compensation. Union category workers got attractive compensation.
This was done in the month of April 2009. None of the employee from staff category have received their PF refunded.
Being at senior level,I resigned in December and fearing my PF too will be held up as it is all meshed up. Company gave lleast importance to Payroll or HR functions and matter is not not likely to cleared soon. I am no more in full time employement of any company and need the money to workout my retirement plan although I am 54 years old.
What remeadial measures are available to me to press company to refund PF. The fund were deposited with PF commissioner. There is mess up in accounts. Where do I go or what do i do to get my PF. As far as I know holding up PF or non payment is a serious offence. Please advise.
