Posted: 07 May 2010 12:26 PM PDT

Please consider this very urgent - Thank You

Hello,

We are a KPO unit and want to know as to under what category/industry of Provident Fund Act we fall?

Also, I've been asked to prepare a presentation on PF covering following topics:

- Complete understanding of what the scheme is
- what the regulations are
- what a company has to do to participate
- what an employee does to participate
- any cost and tax implications
- and any other considerations

Can someone please guide me on the above questions?

Thanks,
Mayank

How to safe-guard ourselves when providing recruitment services to a company?

Posted: 07 May 2010 11:05 AM PDT

Dear All,

This might have been asked earlier... Just wanted to know how a RPO company should safe-guard itself (legally and by-process) so that it is not taken for a ride when a person is placed in client's company.

Assume that I place a person X for a certain job in a company. If the same X was also being referred by internal employee or any other recruitment agency, then my efforts will be lost. What are the standard ways to protect myself both from Legal point of view and by best-practices point of view?

What are the documents / registers / forms / metrics that I should maintain with my client?

Regards,
Govinda Padaki
