Dear All,

1. I take oppurtunity to share my one of query in this forum, as I am working as project manager in West Africa for Transmission Line construction project, salary is being paid in USD / Euro / local Currency every month locally, I have limited facility sending them to india via money gram or western union but sending charges are too much high say 6-8% of the sending amount. Hence, I wish to carry my salary in USD or Euro to India while returning, home leaves shall generally be at every six or twelwe month. May I know how much or what is the upper limit of such currencies shall be carried by hand as hard cash ( here,even no facility for getting Draft/Traveller check any kind here ).

2. Please explain me what is currency declaration at custom at airport during departure and arrival and also how and why it is important.

Any other inputs are required shall be provided

Hi,

I just wanted to know whether a married woman can make her mother a nominee in EPF. If yes, than on her death the entire amt in the EPF would go to her mother and her husband should not have any claim on it.

Am i right in my interpretation
