Posted: 20 May 2010 10:11 AM PDT Hello!! I have been doing my HR Training from Wockhardtz. As part of my project I need to benchmark training Evaluation policy of Wockhardtz with other Companies and then redesign it. So I need to Find out the parameter that HOD/Supervisor can use to evaluate the training programs and that parameter should be very generalized and can be used for any department and for any training program i.e. training can be for workers or it can be for executives . Please Help me out I shall be very thankful to you. Regards Ritesh Sharma |

how to approach previous employer for a relieving letter after two years Posted: 20 May 2010 10:02 AM PDT Hi, I desperately need help on this one. This concerns by brother. He joined a Indian Multinational in March 2004. He worked very hard to perform extraordinarily so that his aspirations of being sent across to US as part of a project, may come about after in a year or two. Unfortunately for him, he was sidelined and ignored repeatedly by manipulative individuals, who somehow always found a way to surpass him whenever such an opportunity did come. Eventually, after openly expressing his disappointment and anger, he was sent to US in June 2007 as part of a project. But then, again following the previous pattern, when his project stay was coming to an end in Feb 2008, no effort was made to get him an extension in the same project or to transfer him to another project, even though companies are very well known to do so. Frustrated with this, he resigned in US(before leaving for US, the company had him sign an agreement that he wud not leave the job in US and and even when he is back in india, he cud resign after 6 months only ). The company sent to our house a letter detailing that they are entiled to receive Rs.5 lac from him. In the meantime, my brother joined a consultancy firm in US with which he has been working for two years(Feb 2008 to date). Now, he looks forward to return to india by joining a company here. But they all are asking for the relieving letter from all of his previous employers. His first job was a contractual job and he has experience letter for that. The above-mentioned incident happened with the second employer, HE DOES NOT HAVE THE RELIEVING LETTER FROM THEM. His third employer is his current employer from whom he can get his relieving letter. MY QUESTION IS THIS: IF HE DECIDES TO PAY UP NOW ? IS IT POSSIBLE? IF YES ? HOW AND WHOM SHUD HE APPROACH AT HIS PREVIOUS FIRM ? IF THEY DECLINE TO TAKE THE MONEY AND ISSUE THE LETTER , WHAT LEGAL STEPS CAN HE TAKE ? WHAT APPROACH SHUD HE ADOPT IN ORDER TO GET RECRUITERS TO HIRE HIM WITHOUT THE RELIEVING LETTER FROM THE SECOND EMPLOYER ? |
